Prairie Moon Ruled! Awesome Comp from Workerbee Records! CORNSTOCK 2012!

We had the most fun at Prairie Moon Winery last weekend playing with our forever-heroes Christopher the Conquered! It was such a wonderful show, thanks so much to our friends for coming out to party! We even had some friends drive all the way from Iowa City to come check it out and that was so cool, thanks guys! We had a lot of fun playing some of our country songs that we rarely play too, they went so well! Brickman made his debut as our primary drummer and he did a great job!

The glory train rolls on. Our friends over at Workerbee Records just released this killer new compilation of local artists and my solo song “Little White Lie” is the opening track! Thanks to Edward at Workerbeen for including me! The song was recorded by the manly Isaac Norman at Righteous Dog Recording! Thanks Isaac, great work! The comp also features Neon Lushell, the Poison Control Center, CtC and more!

Now, coming up this weekend is a major event: CORNSTOCK 2012! Last year’s Cornstock was definitely one of the most fun shows of the year and we can’t wait to head back out to Jewell and rock the farm with some of our favorite bands in the world like Doctor Murdock, Risky Revival, Trigger-Fish, Echo 18, Will LaPietra, Emma Wilson and SO MANY MORE!! There is CAMPING! And it is FREE!! They will also be collecting donations for The Space for Ames, which is so cool! Props to Brad and Deb for hosting this and making it so awesome! Mumford’s plays at 2 pm sharp!
